Learn about Australia’s innovative new payments platform and how millennials behaviours are impacting the industry.
NPP Australia Limited is a company formed by the payments industry to build and operate the New Payments Platform (NPP). The NPP is Australia’s take on the real-time payments infrastructure being implemented overseas. Its layered business architecture will develop scale and efficiency, while supporting a diverse range of fast payments well into the future. Adrian will share the benefits of the investments that they have made in this new system for Australia.
As a thought leader in Telstra’s global industry for financial services, Rocky will discuss his current research based on ‘Millennials, Mobiles and Money’ – the forces reinventing financial services as well as next generation platforms, particularly around API’s. His research analyses where institutions will need to digitally transform in order to compete against platform-based and data-intensive models that are predicted to have the greatest disruptive impact.Speaker Bio
