Now in its fourth year, these awards are designed to recognise and celebrate the finance industries brightest professionals and are open to professionals aged 35 and under.

At an awards dinner in Sydney on Thursday evening, the winners for 2017 were announced including:

1. Overall Winner:  Will receive the Hugh DT Williamson Scholarship and opportunity to present at the awards the following year.

  • The Hugh DT Williamson Scholarship awards $16,500 to a young finance professional aged 35 and under to undertake a leadership, education or professional development program of their choice.  FINSIA’s prestigious annual scholarship is awarded to an outstanding individual who can demonstrate leadership, professional qualifications, community and social responsibility as well as a contribution to the financial services industry.

2. Category Winners: Invitation to the ‘YFPA winners table’ at FINSIA’s signature event, ‘The Regulators’ which is a sell-out event each year (approx. 350 senior delegates) and highly anticipated.  Economy return airfares included.

  • Invitation to be a part of the ‘Young Finance Professionals Regulators Roundtable’ that will be held on the morning of FINSIA’s ‘The Regulators’ event.  The discussion will be featured in the AB&F magazine, FINSIA’s InFinance online publication and potentially other media outlets such as the AFR.
  • An opportunity to present at a local FINSIA Young Finance Professionals event

3. Finalists: A complimentary ticket to FINSIA’s Current & Future Leaders event

4. Submissions: A complimentary ticket to attend FINSIA’s Signature ‘Future of Finance’ Roadshow. A full write-up of the awards will be published in the 2018 April edition of the AB+F Magazine and website together with a feature in FINSIA's InFinance online publication. All winners will be featured in editorial post event by FINSIA, RFi Group & AB+F Events.
