2025 Equities Update Part 2
During the most volatile reporting season in the history of the ASX, Australia’s share market reached an all-time high, with the S&P/ASX 200 index briefly breaking through 9,000 points. US markets have been equally buoyant, reaching all-time highs through August and September, whilst gold has also reached an all-time high. With signs of softer economic activity, both the RBA and Federal Reserve have cut interest rates. Trump’s tariffs have begun to be implemented, impacting exporters to the US.
How do we make sense of what is going on in equity markets? Where are the opportunities? What is the outlook for the ASX?
Philip Pepe, Senior Equities Analyst at Shaw and Partners and David Lane, Senior Private Wealth Adviser & State Manager QLD at Ord Minnett will provide an in-depth analysis of these and other questions.
Registration open until Tuesday 21 October. Registration requests submitted beyond this date will be processed on a case-by-case basis. Please contact [email protected] if you wish to register past this date.
