CODE OF CONDUCT

FINSIA's Code of Conduct was updated on 26 May 2023 and applies to all FINSIA Members. It applies to all FINSIA members from that date.

FINSIA’s purpose is to support a growing community of financial services professionals to realise their ambitions and advance their careers by embedding professionalism in financial services through enhanced, measurable standards of conduct and competence.

This updated Code of Conduct defines expectations of conduct consistent with ethical professionalism in financial services.

FINSIA members and committee members are expected to uphold the values and comply with the standards of conduct set forth in the Code. Student members are also encouraged to read and understand the principles and standards of conduct outlined in this Code to help them to prepare for their future roles.

The FINSIA Code of Conduct should be read in conjunction with FINSIA's Constitution and By-Laws, policies and procedures.

Members should consider the interaction of this Code with other professional standards and codes of conduct, for instance employer codes of conduct.
