Andrea Slattery
Andrea Slattery has been an Independent Non-Executive Director & Governance expert for 29 years, 15 of those in highly scrutinized, highly regulated and high-profile ASX, Government, Commercial and NFP Boards as well as on Federal Government and Regulatory Advisory Committees.
She currently sits on the Boards of AMP Limited, AMP Bank, Clean Energy Finance Corporation, Infrabuild and the Woomera Prohibited Area Advisory Board. She has proven experience in financial services, government relations, investment, innovation and as an expert in strategy, governance, culture and transformational change.
Andrea, a full-time Non-Executive Director & keynote speaker, embodies authentic, values-based leadership. Within her current Bord Directorships, Andrea is at the cutting edge of change regarding culture, climate, government and international relationships and the future focus of corporates. A considered & thought provoking strategic thinker, an agile innovator who thrives in the face of disruption and challenge, she offers compelling insights into corporate culture & strategies and cross industry transformation within a highly regulated environment. She is a recognised expert in focusing on how businesses can most effectively engage with their customers and clients via multi-channel and new age service and technology models. In all her roles, she has displayed a strategic capacity to effect commercially sound major, long-term change – a disruptor of industry norms. She has a critical understanding of business risk and knowledge of financial markets and has been instrumental in effecting significant change for the equality of women and consumer engagement.
Starting her career in Tax and Academia, Andrea was the Founder, Managing Director and CEO of the SMSF Association for 14 years. She led the seven-fold transformational growth of the SMSF Sector in Australia from 19% (or $109B FUM of $535B in 2003) to the largest sector of superannuation in Australia with 30% (or $750B FUM of $2.5T in 2017). Andrea led the introduction of the first two professional Australian Financial Services industry advice designations with the Specialist SMSF Advisor and Specialist SMF Auditor designations. Andrea has been publicly recognised by Prime Ministers, Government, Media and the International Finance Community as one of the most influential and strategic thought leaders in Financial Services and retirement systems and recognised also as helping to generate wealth for millions of Australians enjoying a higher standard of living in retirement than they would have otherwise experienced.
Andrea’s was awarded 'Australian Woman of the Year in Financial Services' 2014, nominated for 'Australian of the Year' in 2017, a finalist in the 'Telstra Business Women’s Awards' (SA) 2016 and was awarded 'AFL Mother of the Year' in 2009. Andrea has also presented on retirement, culture, women and transformational change in China, Europe (to the United Nations), USA, UK and Vietnam.
Andrea holds a Masters of Commerce & Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from University of South Australia. Andrea is a Fellow of the Certified Practicing Accountants, a Member of the Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand, a Fellow of the SMSF Association, a Fellow of the AICD and an inaugural recipient of the Harvard Business School Corporate Director Certificate. She is a member of the Chief Executive Women and a member of the Harvard Business School Women Execs on Boards.
Andrea, and husband Paul, live in Adelaide and have 4 sons, 4 daughters in law and 12 grandchildren. She loves family, catching up with friends for a glass of wine & playing tennis.
Enza Ferraro
Enza is an award winning, highly driven leader with expertise in leadership, people development, strategy, business acumen and end-to-end customer service experiences.
With 30+ years of experience working in the customer service industry for some of Australia’s best known financial institutions, she has a proven track-record in developing and implementing large-scale, transformational business strategies. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated strong leadership in both strategy, projects and business leadership whilst always positioning the customer at the forefront of decision-making. Enza has led successful teams across multiple geographies across the retail, small business, commercial banking, premium bank and contact centre environment whilst delivering on a number of strategic based projects for national businesses. She has outperformed in financial metrics and employee engagement whilst achieving a robust and successful compliance and risk based business. Fundamentally, Enza has focussed on people development and culture to create sustainable and highly successful businesses underpinned by excellent customer experiences.
Enza is State Chair Women of Westpac, SANT, a member of the FINSIA Regional council for SAWA, and a member of the SANT WBC Community Board. A key note participant at the Women In Leadership Forum in 2018, Enza was also the recipient of the Women of Distinction Award, 2019, Asia Pacific Council, for her leadership contribution in Finance for 2019. Enza was a finalist for the Women of Influence Award for the Westpac CEO awards in 2020. Enza is a passionate advocate of developing women to enable them to achieve their best and was instrumental in originating the first Young Professional’s network for the ANZ Bank that was focussed on supporting young talent. Enza is a generalist banker by design, a key driver of transforming workforces through strategy, people talent management and building successful businesses. She ultimately focuses on the best outcomes for customers, people and organisations by combining her rich and varied commercial experiences across a diverse range of business verticals and disciplines.
Nicolle Rantanen Reynolds
MCom Law, MBA, FCPA, FAICD, BCom (Acc), FTIA
Nicolle is an experienced Board Chair, Director and Senior Executive. Nicolle brings her holistic approach to business and thrives on engaging with members, industry bodies and associations to consider all facets, find opportunities, drive culture, and negotiate outcomes to deliver growth. Nicolle contributes at Board level on every aspect of the business lifecycle. Nicolle is well known for her ability to build relationships and has a highly established network across government, university, profit for purpose and the private sector. Her current Board roles include; University of South Australia Governing Council, Credit Union SA, SA/NT Australian Institute of Company Directors,Thoroughbred Racing Northern Territory, Cancer Council SA, Clayton Church Homes in addition to a number of Local Government roles. Nicolle is also President of The Grange Golf Club, the host of the LIV International Golf Tournament that is expected to bring in excess of $40Mil in tourist revenue to the State of South Australia in April 2023.
Donny Walford
The founder of two companies, Behind Closed Doors and Bottomline, Donny Walford has achieved national success working with Boards, Executive, senior management and business owners across industry, government, and the NGO sector.
With an extensive background at Board level, CEO and Executive roles in banking, finance, business associations and government, Donny works at the Board and Executive level of management to drive major strategic and transformational change.
A highly skilled Facilitator, Donny knows how to engage participants, establish the group’s objectives, create a format packed with interactive opportunities for discussion, and lead groups of all sizes toward constructive solutions.
Donny’s Coaching, Mentoring and Corporate Advisory style in providing guidance to senior executives, and Board Directors and business owners is upfront and direct. She begins by asking questions to build rapport and to understand the individual and their business and their situation, any concerns, and challenges and, importantly, their goals and aspirations. Donny provides insightful suggestions and recommendations, to assist individuals to resolve the challenges or to improve business performance.
Her energy and approach are suited to situations where leaders and entrepreneurs possess big dreams, enjoy moving quickly and are usually facing viability and sustainability challenges in their business.
Ida Wong GAICD F FIN
With over 20 years of banking and finance experience, Ms Wong was former Chair & current committee member of FINSIA Regional Council SA & NT.
She was in Sydney working across the Credit Suisse segments of Alternative Investments (Private Equity) & Private Banking and returned to South Australia with a young family to join the retail banking network across Westpac, CBA, Westpac Private, BankSA, BankSA Private. At Westpac Group, Ms Wong led a team in the role of Regional Executive (Area Manager) across multi-brand teams of Westpac Premier Banking, BankSA Private Bank and Mobile teams. She is currently Investment Advisor at LGT Crestone.
Volunteering for over 30 years, Ms Wong is passionate about making a difference by bringing like-minded individuals together to support and value-add to community & charities.
Ms Wong is a Fellow of FINSIA, and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
