Fiona Balzer SF FIN

Fiona commenced with ASA in September 2017 and brings deep knowledge of ASA as well as a background in corporate governance and equity investment. She works closely with ASA's volunteer company monitors, who meet ASX200 boards and attend AGMs on behalf of retail shareholders. She also liases with regulators and financial market participants to advocate for the interests of shareholders

Her prior roles include Senior Investment Research Analyst/Associate Director with Macquarie Private Wealth from 2007 to 2015 and ASA Corporate Information Policy Officer from 2003 to 2007. Immediately prior to joining ASA for the first time in 2003, Fiona worked with CameronRalph, board performance assessors. This followed 15 years in Senior Equity Analyst/Portfolio Manager roles with Investment Management divisions of Westpac, NSW State Super and Commonwealth Bank.
