Advocacy body FinTech Australia has just launched a new jobs board and already more than 100 companies have posted more than 650 jobs on it. It’s clear evidence early stage ventures are positioning for a recovery period for the second half of the year. Online loan provider MoneyMe’s general counsel Naomi Saba, who is responsible for hiring, says COVID-19 has reinforced the need for candidates to be flexible. “We’re looking for people who can think on their feet and identify opportunities during events like COVID-19, such as new products for a new world and business opportunities that might not have existed before.”
