NZ Economic Wrap up with Sharon Zollner
The New Zealand economy is at a delicate juncture. With the cash rate having been increased by 525 basis points since October 2021, house prices have fallen by a quarter in real terms and with a bout of extreme weather thrown in, it’s been a wild ride. Sharon Zollner, ANZ’s New Zealand’s Chief Economist will provide an overview of the opportunities and pitfalls that may await on New Zealand’s bumpy path back to a low and stable inflation rate.
