Joining us is David Lane, QLD State Manager & Senior Private Wealth Advisor at Ord Minnett. David has held management and advisory positions for a range of firms, from global investment banks to boutique wealth managers.
Alongside him will be Philip Pepe, Senior Analyst from Shaw and Partners Limited. Philip is well-versed in equities as he has over 25 years' of experience working in the investment industry and held roles within areas like Investment Consulting and Investment Research and Portfolio Management.

Philip Pepe
Philip has worked in the investment industry for over 25 years in roles that included Investment Consulting, Investment Research and Portfolio Management. He has also lectured for various educational bodies including the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and the Institute of Actuaries of Australia.
Phil’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours); Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment; Chartered Financial Analyst; and Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia. Phil joined Shaw in November 2021 and covers general industrial stocks.

David Lane
David Lane is an experienced financial services leader, having held management and advisory positions for a range of firms, from global investment banks to boutique wealth managers. He is currently Queensland State Manager and Senior Private Wealth Adviser for Ord Minnett.
He is a member of FINSIA’s Financial Advice & Services Advisory Council and QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute’s investment committee.
David was recognised in the 2020 and 2021 editions of Barron’s Top 100 Australian Financial Advisers and has received recognition at the IFA Awards. His expert insights are often sought by media, and he regularly appears on Ausbiz and LiveWire.
David holds a Master of Applied Finance, Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning, Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy). He is a Fellow of FINSIA, CPA and a member of AICD.
