Avril Henry is the Founder and Executive Director of Avril Henry & Associates. She is an acclaimed keynote speaker, consultant, coach, mentor and author, who is passionate about diversity and inclusion, developing collaborative leaders and positive workplaces. Over 20 years her consulting business has worked with organisations to change their culture and build their leadership capability.

Avril’s career has spanned senior roles in finance, project management, change management and human resources in South Africa, Australia, the UK and USA.

She is a Fellow of CPA Australia, Senior Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Managers and Leaders, Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and member of AHRI. Avril has served on multiple boards and several industry association bodies.

Brett is an experienced business leader with 30 years’ investment industry experience in Australia, Europe and Asia. This includes 13 years as CEO of abrdn Australia (Aberdeen Asset Management).

With a specific focus on funds management, superannuation and wealth management, Brett has held roles from back office to front office and leadership. Highly experienced in the development, execution and oversight of strategy at all levels of an investment business - corporate, investment, product, distribution, operations, risk, and people/culture. Experienced in the development & deployment of new & innovative products / services. Strong track record in leading organisational change and in the development of new and innovative products and services.

Max is a Partner in the Business Advisory Division which provides accounting & taxation services to local businesses and Australian subsidiaries of overseas based global corporations. He has tax knowledge in a wide range of areas corporate tax including income tax, capital gains tax, goods and services tax, fringe benefits tax and indirect taxes.

His experience includes the successful integration of foreign subsidiaries into doing business in Australia, from general business advisory to setting up workers compensation policies, cloud based accounting solutions, payroll and accounts payable and receivable functions. Max is the point of contact for business owners and finance departments when looking to solve problems and adapt to the changing accounting and tax landscape.
