With his broad knowledge and experience, he’s a sought-after lecturer in the areas of financial planning, portfolio construction and risk management.

Since he traded his directorship at KPMG for a directorship at Capital Partners in 2003, Michael’s humanity, curiosity and ability to think laterally and strategically have been instrumental in our ongoing growth and success. He has a natural ability to connect with clients as individuals – a characteristic that underpins our culture – fuelled by a desire to add value to people’s lives, from our clients and their families to the members of our team.

This curiosity and compassion can also be seen in Michael’s commitments outside work. When he isn’t enjoying precious time with his family and friends, or pursuing his passions for cycling, boating and triathlons, Michael serves on the boards of several community-based not-for-profit organisations.

Damien serves as Loan Market and LMG's State Director in Western Australia, bringing over 25 years of comprehensive experience across major lenders and aggregators in the finance industry. Renowned for his deep understanding of brokers, track record of exceptional results, and skill in cultivating high-performing teams, Damien has led the growth of LMG in WA since joining the group in March 2022.
