Shirley is an auditor by training and a SMSF expert by choice. She established a separate Superannuation division at BDO in 1996, recognising the need to provide high quality technical services to clients with self-managed superannuation funds.

Shirley is a regular speaker at SMSF & Audit conferences. She provides SMSF competency training for accountants and auditors. She is the co-author of the Thomson Reuters SMSF Audit Guide and winner of multiple SMSF and Audit Awards.

She is an Fellow Specialist Adviser and Fellow Specialist Auditor of the SMSF Association (SMSFA); a Fellow of the Association of Superannuation Funds Australia (ASFA); a Fellow of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ); a Registered SMSF Auditor; and a Registered Company Auditor.

Loretta Reynolds is Chair and Partner of national corporate law firm Thomson Geer. With more than 25 years’ experience in the legal sector, she specialises in complex transactional work.

Loretta is also a Non-Executive Director of Australia’s sovereign submarine builder and maintainer, ASC and also of infrastructure advisory and project management company RP Infrastructure.

She is also a member of the Business Advisory Group for private equity and small cap listed equities fund manager Anacacia Capital and former Chair of the Royal Flying Doctors Service, Central Operations.

Andrea has worked in banking for the past 15 years, mainly focussed on strategy and transformation across people and culture, retail banking and digital banking, and recently joined the risk and compliance transformation team at Bendigo Bank.

Throughout her career she has been a passionate voice for gender equality and has previously worked on Bendigo’s diversity and inclusion strategy and women in leadership program.

Originally from Norway, she lives in Adelaide with her husband Grant and four year old son Charlie. She loves Pilates, yoga and running.
